SERVICES OFFERED BY THE REGION 10
PREVENTION PROVIDERS INCLUDE:
- Participation in media campaigns and public presentations that raise awareness on behavioral health prevention
- Prevention outlet for materials and information
- Trainings, workshops, and in-service sessions for schools, community groups and organizations
- Technical assistance in prevention program development, curricula design and data interpretation
- Implement environmental strategies for alcohol and tobacco compliance and accessibility
- Assist with the state-wide data collection of the Arkansas Prevention Needs Assessment
- Promote and increase behavioral health prevention via community awareness, media campaigns, evidence based programming and education of the Strategic Planning Process and the Strategic Prevention Framework
- Initiate prevention efforts across the lifespan as directed by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
